Urbanspoon is very much similar to burrp. Urbanspoon uses the phones location through GPS to find restaurants and food around you. The app for the iPhone was launched in mid 2008 and has seen a lot of updates since then. One of the unique features of this app is that if you can’t decide what to eat or which restaurant to try, you can just shake the phone and it will pop up a random restaurant in that locality. It also provides user reviews and ratings similar to burrp.
